About the Saints
We are an American Lineage Society that focuses on lineal descent from more than 80 Saints. We are a Membership Organization and we are neither politically nor religiously focused; rather, we are proud descendants of men and women who were sanctified or beatified by the various Catholic Churches (Orthodox, Roman, Armenian, Greek, &c.).
This site provides the History of our society, the names and term of our Officers (including contact information), a list of Qualifying Saints, and a list of the Qualifying Gateway Ancestors. The Gateway Ancestors list also includes those who have caveats concerning their royal descent and those whose line of descent has been disproved. Be sure to consult all three lists, and if you still have questions, contact our Genealogist for guidance.
You will also find a Genealogy Blog to assist in determining which Qualifying Saint(s) you have as your direct-line ancestors.
What about the Sinners?
The answer is simple. The Society’s name is somewhat tongue-in-cheek. WE (the Descendants of the Saints) are the Sinners. So, should you wish to join, you already have half of the battle won!
